In January, all roads lead to the Tamworth Country Music Festival. During the festival, Tamworth becomes one huge campground to accommodate the thousands of visitors that come from all over Australia and abroad for 10 days of country music.
In its 44th year, the Tamworth Country Music Festival is the largest music festival in Australia and ranked in the top 10 worldwide. This year there promises to be over 700 performers, 2800 shows spread out over 120 venues. It’s no wonder that 55,000 visitors flock to Tamworth each year!
The greater community pulls together to provide everyone with a roof or tent over their head by providing lots of accommodation options.
